New 50mm F1.8 lens because I got tired of losing shots to shutter delay indoors and on cloudy days with my F3.5. And I hate raising ISO. The F1.4 was too pricy so I settled for the F1.8. Testing with the new lens.
Composition takes forever with fixed 50mm since I'm used to working with 18mm then cropping a lot. ^^;
Minor crop, quite a bit of tone editing, and color balancing in post. :shrug:

I wanted something really soft :aww: . DOF with F1.8 is awesome :wow:

update: ah the negative space on the bottom looked overly bright in contrast with everything else, so i square cropped it out :shrug:

maybe this should be sunday morning because it's soft, relaxing... monday's are often harsh and grey cos of work :) Either way, looks beautiful.
