Nikon D80 + 50mm F1.8 + IR remote. Leaf cut into the shape of a lip. Lighting used to accentuate the curves of the leaf to prevent it from looking flat. Color balancing in post editing to make everything more green. Noise reduction due high ISO. Decreased contrast for faded look.

Absolutely gorgeous. The overall softness of the image makes the leaf really pop. This is something I intend to keep in mind for a long time, simply because it is so very striking to look at.

i like it, but at the same time i think the background is a bit soft and the up the nose green is sort of ewwing me out lol, i like the concept but i think its needs a bit more contrast in it :)
