Materials and Methods
self timer. it is focused! focus is on the heart thingy and vase, not me. 18 mm f3.6. blanket setup for the background. tones adjusted in post editing. im getting tired of normal matte framing, so i thought i'd go for the sad movie look :shrug:

last valentines pic. thought i'd do something a bit more anti-valentine for the people spending valentines day alone... *cough* like me *cough*

This is simply beautiful. It truly shows the concept of loving alone. The choice of using the glass vase with the red heart is a perfect way of showing how one loves alone. The lighting is well done and I love how you chose to focus on the vase more than the girl. The vase focuses on how love is away from the lover. The girl looks as if she is longing for something, like a lover looking for love, even though you can't see her facial expression. I also like how you used white colored hues in the background. It really makes the red on the ribbon and the heart pop. Overall, great job!

Its an awesome concept! I like to critique it! :)

Vision
Here, empty glass with heart on it and sitting style of model is perfect fit for given title. But I think the upper edge of image should bit high up to model's lips; it gives more feel of loneliness by expression. By the way, due to uneven hairstyle it also seems very perfect!

Originality
This images is one of the best way to show lover alone.

Technique
Depth of field gives very good effect to overall concept. It highlights glass bottle & heart, and sends model to loneliness. Color theme is also good.

Impact
Feelings of 'lover alone without love' is clearly coming out of picture. Main colors (red, black & white) indicates their own style: RED - LOVE, BLACK & WHITE - FEEL OF LOANED.
So, it is a perfect according to theme.

Overall it beautifully done.
