Tutorials and Resources - Take self-portraits: [link] - Natural lighting (for dramatic indoor lighting): [link] - Composition rules (diagonal, leading lines): [link]
Materials and Methods Nikon D80 + 18-55mm Nikkor + IR remote. Lying on the basement floor, my head in a taped up box drawn on with expo markers. Tripod and ladder to help compose the shot. Decrease in red content in color balancing to emphasize green hues. Added transparent yellow layer. Increased brightness and midtones to brighten the photo and darkened shadows in tone editing. Minor sharpening to better emphasize textures after resizing.
Additional Comments Playing with lighting and shadows again.

Update: Those are not my pelvic bones. They are the pockets of my jeans. This photo is protected under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 License. You're a great photographer.Your work is very light and soft and gives a feeling of hope and happiness to one who views it.I think your work is perfect.
i saw something like this on so you think you can dance. It was a hip hop dance routine where the two people were evicted. they ended the dance with their "packaged" boxes on their head with a frowny face drawn on it !!!
